So to be honest we're totally getting burned out on this whole searching thing. This is the fourth freelancer site we've tried to find someone to work with. Here's the deal..

We have the coolest content on the planet (hot chicks, new dance mixes, travel and 'leisure').
We're using the newest technologies because we see them as the future, not just for experimenting.
We're looking for help. This is a small test project to see if you are the right fit.

An ideal candidate will:

-- Eat, drink, and dream in CSS / Wordpress / PHP / Ajax.
-- Have experiments with HTML5, jQuery, & i P h o n e , that show your skillz.
-- Understand what it means to be cool in web 2.0 and be ready to take it up a notch.

Scope of work:

-- Provide an example theme that incorporates these new technologies,
-- You dont have to DESIGN (would be nice), but you do have to CSS.
-- Score B or better on Yslow (sprites, minify, etc).
-- Use Thematic or Genesis as a base theme (or rock your own).

Budget: see posting

Eventual arrangement:

-- Build a suite of themes for different content types (Video, Music, Magazine, Blog).
-- Build (or theme and manage) special cross-platform players (MP3, h264).
-- Manage codebase (thematic or genesis variant).
-- Integrate / potentially code advanced jQuery interaction & animation.

Ongoing salary: Do project 1 and we'll talk (more cojones = more duckets)
