<br/>Hi,<br/><br/><br/>The website is for a gold merchant and will be built on the Wordpress platform. The main purpose of the site will be to give people quotes on their gold and make them an offer. We will build the website - we need you to figure out this form. (2 seperate forms)<br/><br/><br/>So here is what we need:<br/><br/><br/>A multi-part form (probably 3 stages) that calculates the value of a person's gold based on the weight and the carat of the gold.<br/><br/><br/>The price of gold changes twice daily and this data will either need to be pulled in dynamically from a 3rd-party site or will need to be entered manually twice a day. The formula in its simplest form would be weight_of_gold X (current_gold_price/89%).<br/><br/><br/>The user would then have 3 choices:<br/><br/>1/ Decline the offer -&gt; redirect to a page<br/><br/>2/ Accept the offer -&gt; Email sent to user with details of how to send in their gold. Client CC'd<br/><br/>3/ Store the quote for a period of 24 hours. This quote can be retrieved at any point in the next 24 hours by the customer and they can choose to proceed with the offer --&gt; step 2<br/><br/><br/>So it seems we might need a way to tap into the user account system of wordpress and create a couple of new fields for each user that can be retrieved by that user up to 24 hours afterwards.<br/><br/><br/>_______________________________<br/><br/><br/>Quote 2 -<br/><br/>We need a 'What is your weight in gold' form. A user enters their weight in kilos, then their 'value' in gold is displayed based on the proce of gold that day. We need a small badge image to be created based on output of this form. "I AM WORTH
