<br/> Looking for an excellent programmer who can build a web crawler or spider in php to extract product content from multiple ecommerce site and which will automatically updated MySQL database.<br/><br/>I'm currently using oscommerce template. If it can be intergrated in oscommerce that would be great, if not no worries. When you click on the image or details it would display the product description page. And when you click on the "Where to Buy" button it goes to that product description website. What i have been doing is copying a pasteing the content from these website. So what i want to do is automating this functionality. And maybe run a cron job to run it every day so the product stays updated.<br/>Not sure if this is necessary.<br/>Since all website is setup differently, this crawler may need an admin interface to setup individual website.<br/>Please take a look at this website http://www.newprosoft.com/ of course this a desktop application which is not necessary to do if you can do something like this in php that would be great.
