Description

I am looking for someone to design a logo for a new winery -- the name is Quintorbis -- 5 spheres in Latin. The wines will be named after each of the four planets of the inner solar system and the sun (sample descriptions below). We are also interested in having labels designed for our bottles.

SOL -- At first swirl, a bright beam of golden color dances in the
sunlight, almost inviting one in for those first aromatic essences.
Pungent aromas come forward such as grapefruit, citrus, and honeydew
melon. A few more swirls of the glass reveal a wonderful depth and
concentration in the wine. On the palate, tropical fruit characters
abound, such has white peach and pineapple. Honeysuckle elements from
the Sauvignon Musqué linger, creating a rich mouthfeel without any
cluttering oak characters. A long and lingering finish culminates the
progression of this dynamic and beautiful Sauvignon Blanc.

MERCURY -- A full bodied Pinot Noir, the Mercury opens up boldly with
aromas of dark fruit, candied plum, cola, and a hint of Dutch cocoa
powder. The palate expresses a distinctive character indicative of
black cherry, ripe plum, and anise. Well structured with firm tannins
and bright acidity, this wine has lingering flavors of chocolate
covered Bing cherries.

VENUS -- Award winning Chablis house. This classic mineral style white
has good balance with hints of almond on the finish.

EARTH -- This 100% estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon is from our Meadow
Vineyards. Deep ruby in color, this wine is characterized by the rich
fruit, supple body, depth and complexity.The red in the label is
reminiscent of the seductive yet luscious finish this wine exudes.

MARS -- This Zinfandel is ripe, generous, yet impeccably balanced wine
whose keen blackberry fruit in nose and mouth comes with a mix of
intensity and youthful restraint that promises more and better as the
wine ages.
