I want to build a real estate listing site. It would be a database driven site where sellers can upload their content without any intervention by staff. Two levels of access would be needed. A back office for registered users, buyers and sellers, to manage their subscription or listing.<br/>My emphasis is on making the site very easy to understand, lean code so pages load fast. Appearance is less important than functionality.<br/>I'm not sure what language to use, I would be taking your advice on that. Though, I can give you examples of sites that have the features I want to implement.<br/>I want to get the basic mechanism of sellers being able to list their properties and buyers being able to subscribe and get listings of their set criteria send to them, set up first. After that we'd be approaching features from the basis of what is most useful and building them on one by one.<br/>If you can quote a fixed price for getting the basic mechanism set up and an hourly price for work going forward, that would be great.<br/>More information can be supplied upon interview and more detailed specifications provided for the job.
