Wanted an experienced Systems Architect with 5+ years of professional experience as an Architect managing 30 or more team members. Expertise in the following is required:

Environment: EJB3, JBOSS, Tomcat, MySQL, Java, Adobe Flex/Air, Orbeon, and Pentaho, dcm4che, and Alfresco.

Others: Securities, Wireless Networking, Application Security and Authentication, Linux, Windows, Google Android, OpenMRS, HL7 Interfacing, Interfacing with healthcare systems such as Lab and Pharmacy, DiCOM, HTPPS, PayPal and Application Hosting (SAAS).

Experience in the US Healthcare industry is the most valuable asset and preference will be given to those with the experience.

Your responsibilities include:

• Design simple, scalable, robust and easy to deploy applications for healthcare market
• Help us build intuitive and user friendly healthcare applications
• Treat other team members with respect and support their questions professionally and timely
• Communicate clearly, concisely and effectively
• Track progress and ensure all the projects are going as per the projected time frames. Work proactively and ensure that there aren’t any delays.
• Setup and manage Version Control, Bugzilla, etc in oDesk
• Participate in regular meetings with us and the team members
• Manage a team of contractors located in different parts of the world
• Prepare and document test routines and deployment routines for all the applications
• Document  and manage features and functionality of different software components
• Available on GTalk and Phone. Must be available to contact during the US time zone (EST)
• Catch-up quickly with the existing code that was already developed or being developed
• Ensure all the team members are following appropriate coding conventions such as Hungarian notations and comments within the code

You should be able to think outside of the box and come up with design solutions that are simple, robust and easy to deploy. You should be detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills. Please be aware that this is a monthly and long term assignment. You are expected to get the work done and it will take more than 40 hours per week.
