I have developed a program that has a key-activated Editor, which was using Richedit DLL. This editor was of minimum functions. But 4 custom functions has been developed and 4 buttons have been added to the menu bar.

Now I want to upgrade this Richedit based editor to Trichview based editor.

This job has two phases. Interested coders can quote both tasks separately.

The first task is simple: create a workimg Trichview editor just like this demo editor http://www.trichview.com/resources/actions/actiontest.zip

And all that's needed to do is to make it to activate by user's specific key-combination (example: ctrl-F11). And the source codes must be in Borland C++ Builder.

** there is one more modification that must be done to that sample demo program. This is both necessary and a test to see whether the coder can actually modify and enhance this Trichview source codes The modification is that: after a paste operation, the pasted rich text does not affect the current font used. Example if the document is in Times New Roman and an external text block was inserted. And the last word of the text block is in MingLiu (a Unicode font used by the Chinese), the next key entered would still be in Times New Roman and not in MingliU. This is currently implented in our Richedit editor. This modification is, again, both needed and a test to whether coder knows Trichedit well enough to do bigger jobs. **

After this is completed (that's a separate task, this bid), the second job is to port the 4 functions from my original Richedit based source codes to the new Trichview based editor.

The nature of the 4 functions are:

1. Setting Fonts according to some prior settings (this is the easiest)

2. Conversion of one language script to another script. There is data and

algorithm. The original coder didn't know any of the two languages scripts. Yet it has been done in our current Richedit Editor. Full original source codes will be provided

3. Another conversion based on data and algorithm.

4. Language dictation based on sound files and database. Original coder who did it doesn't know the language, nor the pronunciation. We'll provide you with source codes of the original richedit version.
