<br/>Hi,<br/><br/><br/>we are looking for a joomla component which will retrieve all items by authors or Artists from Amazon into an global database. The component should also check automatically (cron job) if there are any new items within Amazon and add these into the database and inform the user that a new item is available. If a user is looking for an author or an artist it first should check if it is available within the global db and if not retrieve them from Amazon. The user should be able to click on the check box that he/she has the item already and it should be stored in a separate table as well.<br/><br/><br/>The Data which should be retrieved are name, extended product description, distributor, brand, and an image. The price should only be retrieved if the user wants to see if. The price should not be stored into the db.<br/><br/><br/>The retrieve script should be made in such a away, that other API, such as from Google Books can be used as well and searched from. One should be able to extend the class by adding further codes but the mechanic to look for items should be the same.<br/><br/><br/>Further the component should be made so that it can be linked with Facebook as well.
