How it works:<br/>Client has a site - e.g. http://www.abcd.com (Joomla/Joomunity) - a Social Network . the website is setup as a http://www.XYZ.abcd.com (subdomain on http://www.abcd.com ) . When custumers signups he request to start a CMS of his choice - by filling a simple form. Then he has to pay to http://www.abcd.com through paypal for his configuration ( which LMS, Disk space &amp; user limitations, FTP access yes/no, external domain yes/no &amp; so on). After payment he his submit to start the installation.<br/>We take few fields from this form &amp; automatically install the CMS of his choice (if he has choosen "Pune" as a subdomain name in the form then inside "Pune" folder in root)....he can access his site as http://www.Pune.abcd.com after installation.<br/>1. If I'm a custumer I can not change the code of my LMS unless I have FTP access. So I'll need a FTP user name &amp; password to access only "Pune" folder inside root.<br/>2. If someday I want to use http://www.PuneCMS.net instead of http://www.Pune.abcd.com I need to have a Usermin &amp; name servers which will point my externally registered domain to "Pune" folder.<br/>3. If I need to create different email IDS e.g. admin ( at ) PuneCMS.net or info ( at ) PuneCMS.net I should be able to create it from my simple USERmin (Control panel) for my extenally registered domain name.<br/>You can understand it better if you know http://www.ning.com It's a platform where you can start your own social network by simple signup on http://www.ning.com ...you can create a website as http://www.joyremba.ning.com If you already have externally registered http://www.joyremba.com you can use http://www.joyremba.com instead of http://www.joyremba.ning.com . But Ning will ask to pay some amount.<br/><br/>We may not need an interface(UI) for proposed module. It can be a API which works on alerts from DB, existing PHP code. The API will only be active when triggered by DB e.g. If the site user asks for FTP login while signup - once he submits the form to start his installation - our API should create a folder in root with FTP login details before starting the installation. The installation wil take place in that folder. After installation we will be sending an email alert to user with all the details to access his website (admin panel, FTP, name servers if he is interested to use external domain)<br/>Workflow: When user submits the installation request - API will create a subfolder (inside root) with FTP login details (DB parameters), if custumer has asked for external domain use then name servers &amp; Usermin installation for his account - Installation will take place- we will email the access details(Admin for LMS, usermin, FTP etc) to custumer when installation is completed.
