We have a number of sites we need help with currently. We are looking for a Joomla-savvy web designer. You should also be able to figure out how to edit css files, so intermediate knowledge of HTML is a must. You should also probably know how to navigate Photoshop or something like it. We will typically supply a Joomla template as the foundation for a site, any specific directions from the client, and then it is our dream to be able to turn things over to you, artistically, for you to complete the implementation of the site. If you are interested, please supply a list of sites (as in, a portfolio of your work) in your cover letter. We will start with a smaller project first. At times, redesign work may include the less glamorous job of migrating pages from the old look to the new. The first site we will have you work on will be a smaller job, to see how you perform. All jobs will be fixed-price but we will consult with you prior to establishing the project cost so it's something everyone can live with.<br/>If you are primarily a developer and are not very strong in design work, you need not apply. We have seen the 'design' work many developers are capable of and we are asking for an individual or team who can perform aesthetically-pleasing design work, pick appropriate imagery from stock photography sites, has a sense for page layout, adhere to color-schemes, etc.&nbsp;<br/>Finally, this trial run will not last more than a week, so don't bother applying if you can only commit to a month. Turn-around time on projects is important to us. Applicants must have good English skills and have solid rankings in taskcity.
