We are a California-based company and we need an upgrade of an ASP.NET 1.1 web site to the 3.5 Framework.
The site is a small education site where students take exams online and the application determines if they pass or fail. If a student passes, they can recieve a certificate. If a student fails, they are allowed to re-take the test.
Students also pay to receive the certificate if they pass. Presently we are using PayPal. We might keep it this way for now.
There is a bit more to the site than just the online exams, such as reports and management of the application by administrators, but the exams are the primary focus of the site. Much of the application will need to be redesigned to be more user friendly and more intuitive for the user and the administrators.
This will be a complete re-build from the ground up. No existing code will be used for this new site.
The developer must be proficient in the required skills.
