<br/>We currently have a website that was setup simply to get a business off the ground, now we would like to greatly improve this with a brand new portal which links back to our online shop, forum and community page.<br/><br/><br/>*MUST NOT LOOK LIKE A TEMPLATE - VERY IMPORTANT*<br/><br/><br/>The business is a publishing company which acts as a hub for artists and art fans.<br/><br/><br/>The home page must be able to feature all latest products, a feed to the latest posts on our forum, feature a news feed which would have just a headline and link back to the story. The most ambitious part of this project is the desire to have a fully operational community arm, which would allow members to sign up and use this account to access a profile and to post on the forum. The profile would allow users to post work (art) that they have created, to share with other members and have it critiqued, much like *deviant art* does.<br/><br/><br/>I also would like to have 2 ad box's that can cycle through ads and if possible be controlled from a backend.<br/><br/><br/>The website already has an online shop, so we could simply use links off the home page for that but everything else I would like to have rebuilt.<br/><br/><br/>Another important feature of this website is ease of use for both the user and from the backend. We need to be able to update information easily.<br/><br/><br/>If any of these concepts or ideas are overly ambitious, I'm happy to compromise if needed.<br/><br/><br/>I am happy to answer any questions about this project and I hope someone is capable of completing this project.<br/><br/><br/>Add. Info:<br/><br/><br/>Essentially we need the following:<br/><br/><br/>- Home page, this page will act as a portal to all the services the website has (shop, forum, news, links and the most important a new community page)<br/><br/><br/>- The community page (Very much like Deviant art with youtube features), this will need the functionality for people to be able to login and create a profile<br/><br/>from here the main purpose of this page is to allow people to be able to upload their art (much like deviant art) and have people be able to view, comment, watch and rate their work.<br/><br/>I would also like for there to be a feed on the home page, which would list the newest and featured works.<br/><br/><br/>- We already have a working online shop, so i could simply just add links off the home page to the shop, I'm guessing that's the easiest part.<br/><br/><br/>- We would need to have 2 ad boxes, a small window box at the top and a larger square one in the main section of the page, probably off center to the right (common ad position)<br/><br/><br/>I in vision the page to have the navigation on the top, logo to the left, ad box in the middle top, from their I ask for some input as to the how the layout of the page should be.<br/><br/>
