We are looking for a person that can write Dreamweaver extensions.<br/>This would be a short term job with possible long-term employment for the right candidate.<br/>Skill Sets Needed:<br/>Dreamweaver API, JavaScript, regular expressions, CSS, XHTML,PHP, MySQL, XML, C/C++, JAVA, X Code, Cocoa<br/>Not all skill sets above are necessary but must be able to write an extension for Dreamweaver.<br/>First and foremost what we are looking for is somebody who has the ability to write<br/>very strong JavaScript and regular expressions into library classes that work with HTML forms &amp; Dreamweaver API calls.<br/>the ability to write original copyrightable code for Dreamweaver extensions that are going to be used in a commercial nature.<br/>To get an idea of what Dreamweaver's API calls are see Adobe Docs.<br/>Dreamweaver API 8<br/>http://download.macromedia.com/pub/documentation/en/dreamweaver/dw8/dw_pdfs.zip<br/>Dreamweaver 9 online API * &lt;---  easier way to understand the API:<br/>http://livedocs.adobe.com/en_US/Dreamweaver/9.0_Extending/index.html<br/><br/>Ideally the perfect candidate for this position would've started off as a C-programmer<br/>and evolved into web technologies.<br/>The candidate would be able to use their C-programmer background to add further extensibility to Dreamweaver<br/>by writing some C-level programming hooks for JavaScript that are able to be used in Dreamweaver via JavaScript calls.<br/>for both the Mac and PC versions of Dreamweaver. <br/>The Job:<br/>To write a set of JavaScript libraries classes and functions to work and extend Dreamweaver's capabilities<br/>in commercial extensions. JavaScript libraries would have to work with Dreamweaver 8 and above on MAC and PC platforms.<br/>An example library would be a XML CRUD Class that works with a local XML file or files without<br/>using XMLHttpRequest.Then be able to CRUD the file data via HTML form controls &amp; Dreamweaver API calls .<br/>Other utility scripts would be needed to facilitate more complex extension writing.<br/>JavaScript classes or functions must comply with Dom level 1 and be able be integrated with Dreamweaver core API calls to the scripts libraries.<br/>The programmer must also document the code and provide examples of use.<br/>a more specific set of deliverables will be available once the candidates have been selected.<br/>which specify the functions and classes needed with the type of library for the project or projects.
