I need help with my New Big Commerce Store site. This store has fully customizable templates. I have several activities that need to be done to help get my new store up and running. The store is to sell pond products. This list is as follows:<br/>Design elements:<br/>1. Add link back to home page at content website.<br/>2. Change out gray background to white or light blue.<br/>3. Remove new products section from middle of home page as it seems redundant because the new products also show on the right hand side of the page. Leave only the featured products in the middle of the page. Increase number of featured products that show on this page to 3 or four rows.<br/>4. I am open to your suggestions to improve the design. the only criteria is that it must look like the design of the original content site that is driving traffic to it.<br/>The above activity should be fairly straight forward to someone familiar with Big Commerce templates or with html and .css stylesheets.<br/>The bulk of the work is listed below:<br/>Log into the store back office and go through each product to do the following activities:<br/>Details tab:<br/>1. Verify/Modify the product name<br/>2. Make sure product is showing in the correct categories.<br/>3. Write a keyword rich product description and format it with headings, bullets, etc. You can use any description that is already there as the basis of this work, but it must be verified with the manufacturer's or distributor's website for accuracy. Product information can be found on the manufacturer's websites, product catalogs, or the distributor website which will be provided.<br/>4. Add height, width, and depth IF AVAILABLE from the manufacturer<br/>DO NOT CHANGE THE PRICE OR EDIT ANY OTHER FIELDS.<br/>Image/Video Tab<br/>5. Most of the products already have a picture associated with them. Verify that picture is correct for the product and add additional pictures as needed to better describe some products.<br/>6. Add keyword rich description of the image<br/>Other Details Tab<br/>7. Verify/Add search keywords and add commas and tweak for search engines<br/>8. Add product tags for searchability/findability -<br/>9. Click box to make product visible to the site<br/>10. Click don't allow product to be gift wrapped.<br/>11. Modify page title and tweak as necessary for search engines<br/>12. Verify/Modify meta keywords and add commas - tweak for search engines<br/>13. Write meta description and tweak for search engines<br/>Save and Exit.<br/>Other:<br/>14. Need to figure out how to note the shipping method on the products – most products ship fedex but some ship motor carrier freight. I can provide the list of the products that ship motor freight.<br/>15. Some products are variations of other products. These can be consolidated into one page (fittings, pumps, fountains, etc.). I have a list of possible candidates for this.<br/>Product Categories:<br/>Need to create pages for the top level product categories with description and pictures. Currently there are 17 top level categories.<br/>Product Brand pages:<br/>Need to create pages for each product brand. There are about 15 brands.<br/>Currently there are 500 products to update on the site. An additional 700+ will be loaded soon. This number includes the variations. Some complex products will have detailed descriptions - but most will only have one or two lines needed to describe sufficiently. Descriptions will include detailed specifications if applicable to the product.<br/>Example variation: I have a product called a hose clamp. This hose clamp comes in 6 different sizes.<br/>The list of products will be provided to the winning bidder in a spreadsheet for tracking purposes.<br/>Payments to be made for milestones along the way. This will be decided after the winning bid is awarded.<br/>I would like all of this work to be completed within the next 4 weeks if possible. I am somewhat flexible about this date, but once it is agreed upon, hitting the milestones with quality deliverables will be important.
