1. DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

The Center for Civic Education (www.civiced.org), a nationally-renowned nonprofit education organization that creates and implements education programs domestically and internationally, wishes to redesign a brand new mobile quiz app for use by its wide network of teachers, educators, and students.

2. FEATURES

Below is a broad overview of some intended features for the quiz app.
The quiz app will draw upon a data bank of over 600 pre-existing multiple choice questions.

Users should be able to save their score history, record highest scores, and save quiz in progress.

The app should have the ability to upload new or revised quiz questions and answers by Center staff members.

The app should have the ability to offer different types of quizzes (level of difficulty, by theme, etc.) . The organization of those different quiz types will be provided by the Center.

The app should have the ability -- if users create an account -- to save results to a companion website, accessible to teachers and students.

3. AUDIENCE

Students and teachers (middle school, high school); and any general users interested in constitutional education, U.S. history trivia and information.

4. COST

List what your total cost to the Center will be and the payment schedule required.

6. SUBMISSION OF PROPOSAL

Proposals should be emailed no later than May 15, 2011.

Priority consideration will be given to respondents who are also able to provide a design mock-up of the quiz app.
