Sturdy Built, a provider of structural, custom building components for residential and commercial construction, is seeking a creative resource to (1) redesign and program a revamped Web site; (2) revise the corporate logo; and (3) design a folder and template for inserts on corporate and product information. For more information on Sturdy Built, please visit [obscured]

Sturdy Built is in need of a redesigned and re-programmed Web site along with an editing tool, such as a Web-based content management system, for non-technical Web editors. The Web copy and overall project direction/coordination will be provided by a communications consultant.

Currently, the Sturdy Built logo contains the text “Sturdy Built Homes” and has a graphic of a home. The text “Homes” needs to be dropped from the logo and the home graphic needs to be replaced by a graphic that communicates both residential and commercial construction projects. The logo revision is part of an overall brand re-alignment of the organization.

A corporate information packet will be created for clients, media and other key stakeholder groups. The packet will include a pocket folder and templates for corporate and product information, such as fact sheets, product positives, client success stories, management team bios and FAQs.

The project is set to commence by August 1, 2008. It is expected that the Web site will launch by October 1, 2008 (first draft by August 15, 2008; revisions August 18 – 26, 2008; and final draft of Web site by August 29, 2008; programming to take place in September); the logo revised by August 22, 2008; and the corporate folder and document templates designed and ready for production by August 29, 2008. Printing production will be coordinated by a communications consultant. Suggested alterations to the timeline are welcomed by any organization or individual interested in submitting a bid for the Sturdy Built project.
