Hello.

As the last part of our website campaign, we are looking for someone with extreme skills in Flash in order to create the ultimate celebrity video database website. This will be a huge project, as there are many aspects to the website, and we need it with the features as listed below. We also have our own vision of how this website is supposed to look and feel like when operating, but template design is purely up to the designer/coder.

Many will probably argue that a flash website is not what is needed based on the fact that it cannot be SEO properly and so on. This is totally irrelevant for this project, and the coder can SEO it as best as he can. Nothing more is required, as we have channels to do what we want anyway. But a basic SEO is still needed, so if that can be handled somehow, it would be nice.

Anyhow, the main features of the website will be as follows:

a) A huge mass uploader for video files, which will allow us to FTP large number of videos at once to avoid getting stuck with the "one by one" thing. We have no patience for that kind of uploading, so this is crucial.
b) Video streaming is a must, and have to be able to convert most available video files to FLV in order to stream them on the website. It is also important that a user can have the chance to choose whether he/she wants to download or stream a video, so this has to be incorporated somehow.
c) A full indexing of both actresses/actors/movies with full search capabilities throughout the website. A search function like the one they use on www.mrskin.com is preferable, as a user gets suggestions as he types the search. The indexing has to be automatic, and will be done based on the various criterias we add to each video and actress.
d) Beautifully rendered actress and actor pages that will have to comply with our wishes on how it will look. To explain here will take far too long, but suffice it to say, we need it very good, and will require skills. The same with the movie pages.
e) An incorporated blog (not part of the flash package, but with the same "design") is needed, and has to be able to be identified as part of the package by users. There will also be featured link to it on the homepage of the main website.
f) Update page that automatically posts updates to all three categories each day. This counter is reset at midnight each day, and will feature backissues of updates for the last month only. Anything before that is flushed out of the log.
g) Incorporation of payment gateway for downloading clips. Now this is the tricky part. The whole website has to be viewable for everyone, except for downloading and streaming. This will require membership, and should be "greyed out" unless the website confirms the specific user has a valid username/password, and only then will he be able to choose the different options. Installing a payment gateway is also part of this, and has to be incorporated as such so that it wont stand out of the website in any manner.
h) Full design of logo for the website, which also reflects what it is all about.
i) As with the payment gateway, we also need affiliation setup so that people can advertise for our website on their own sites, making it part of our campaign for the website. We need atleast 3 different banners created, which reflects what we do, and beautiful ones at that which will stand out from the crowd. Setup of this will be required, and even though most people isnt skilled in installing payment gateways, our processor can be of much help when it comes to that, and a full access to use them for consulting is open to any coder on the project.
j) The website will host a huge amount of different information regarding the stars and movies, and you need to take height for this when coding the website. A full overview will of course be provided, but we need detailed info boxes, space for both movie review, movie plot and nude scene reviews. Remember that in the movie screens all this information can be divided into "layers", with movie review and nude guide in seperate layers, to avoid having a screen that is a mile long.
k) During the initial design and coding phase, the website WILL be hosted on a server YOU control, if you dont have one, get one (costs about 30 dollars), and the website will be transferred to our hosting when we reach the phase where we deposit the money into Escrow.

It is REQUIRED that you have expert knowledge in Flash design and coding, and it will help a great deal if you have experience in installing payment gateways as well.

Now, as for payment, here are the rules.

* Due to a number of unhappy endings with projects in the past, we will not forward ANY money into escrow hell until we see proof you have what it takes to do this job. We have been around this dance a few times with coders in the past on other projects that tells us "yes of course we can do it", we escrow the funds, and they do not see the project through for various reasons, and they tie up our funds in escrow claiming this and that. This will not be allowed on this project, and if you require escrow advance, please do not bid on this project. And thos ewho bid and require this will be ignored.
* We will desposit the entire amount into Escrow when the coder has presented us with proof he is on the right track, that a workable administration (thus has not to be 100% complete yet) and a workable design has been made. We are aware this is a huge project to undertake, and we wont shove that under a table. Thats why we need to know that the coder is the right one.. And we will not know that for sure until he has been proven to us.
* During the project, NO money, no matter ho whard you beg or try to force it, will be released from Escrow before the completion of the website to our full satisfaction. Just forget it. We are aware many Indian companies and coders do this, and just do not try it. It will not happen.
* Bidding over our maximum will not be accepted, and bids over this will be ignored. Our maximum for this project is $3000. That is our budget. If you can go below this amount, it is good for us.
* We will not be bent on any of these rules, so do not try it. We can very well go elsewhere and get the people we need, but we are aware that there are MANY talented people here, as well as many untalented pretending people. We chose a good one on our last project (after two failed attempts beforehand). We hope to be this lucky again.

If you have any questions, please post them on the clarification board, and they will be answered as soon as humanly possible. Remember different timezones.

Also, be careful when setting your deadline for delivery, and dont be a wiseass and think you can deliver faster than you can. We are not in a terrible rush, but we WILL hold you to your deadline. Better that you take height for complications and give it some more days than blow your deadline altogether. Going over your deadline will penalize you with a subtraction of USD$ 10 for every day you are overdue, and will be subtracted from the total amount we release to you.
