I am looking to have an extension developed that would allow people to have Paid Memberships on their Joomla 1.6 websites.

Currently, Joomla 1.6 is released in Beta 5, and Beta 6 is slated to be released in a week or two. After that, I am sure we can expect a RC (Release Candidate).

I am looking for someone that is already familiar with the Joomla 1.6 core and will not mind making modifications as new versions are released (with compensation, of course).

Joomla 1.6 features a built-in ACL and that is what I want to take advantage of.

I want a Joomla 1.6 native component that will allow people to easily sell paid memberships/subscriptions to their Joomla 1.6 website and based on the level of the package that user purchased, either allow or restrict access to certain extensions, modules, plugins, categories, articles, or comments. Make sense?

With this extension, you should be able to restrict the following based on membership level:

-Component
-Module
-Category/Section
-Article
-Template

This component needs to feature the ability to create and setup multiple packages, like this:

Gold Member: $9.95 / mo
Gets access to: Component A and Category A
DOES NOT GET ACCESS TO: Component B and Category B

Diamond Member: $39.95 / mo
Gets access to: Component A, Component B, and Category A and Category B

Does that make sense?

It needs to feature a very easy to use backend control panel to setup the various membership options, customize email templates, choose which payment plugins to use (for now, it needs to support PayPal only).

It would need to be sync'd somehow with PayPal so that if someone cancels their PayPal subscription, it will tell the Joomla site and it will automatically remove their access or drop them a membership level, depending upon payment received and what not.

It should also automatically create a new user upon successful payment, and disable that user upon cancelling of payment!

I am looking for someone that would be available to make more changes and start working on a version 2 after this initial project is underway and someone willing to do support (for a fee).

Let me be clear, I want QUALITY code. I want GOOD code, stuff that is fast, effecient, and bug-free. I also want someone that speaks FLUENT ENGLISH, as good communication is a must.

One other thing... I am looking for someone that is able to develop Wordpress plugins too, so that we can convert this Joomla component into a WP plugin (do not factor that into the bid, its just a heads up).
