Create a color logo for a new business. Since this is a unique concept - specific to the United States - I need someone who is fluent in English and has first-hand experience with American culture. This knowledge is necessary to understand the concept and translate that into a logo that makes sense for this business.

Ideally, need someone who understands how Americans use sites like Craigslist and other "classified ad" websites.

No Amateur Designers, please! Artist should have minimum of 5 years of experience in designing corporate logos.

What we are seeking:
-original artwork (not modified clipart)
-original typography (not modified)
-original design that makes sense for the nature of the business.

Logo will contain artwork in addtion to the name of the company, possibly a tag line.

Non-U.S. companies should not bid.

Successful work could lead to future design business for this new company.

Because I have had problems with Freelancers sending old or design samples from designers that no longer work for the agency, I wil reserve the right to cancel the contract, if after, 5-10 draft logo ideas, it is clear to us that continuing will not be productive. This doesn't mean you have to have a winning idea within 5-10 drafts, but if it's obvious the design talent is not there, we reserve the right to cancel the contract with no payment. Any non-draft work will be compensated, of course.
