* transfer of an existing web site ( milatos.com ) - under windows server & asp coding into linux with movabletype blog software

* every page in the old environment will be copied & move to a new post within movabletype software having all the text plus photos

a mod_rewrite module redirecting with a permanent 301 redirect from the old .asp page to the new .html page wiill be coded for every old .asp page given in the sitemap below :

All new posts - pages under movable type environment will have to be categorized into blogs .

* old css & design & template will move to the new one but redesigned & refreshed to give the impression that the old site has changed


* contact pages will be transfered fully to new posts with customized fields


* car rental pages will maintain their main structure with embeded a car rental form already coded in old site .


* flights pages will maintain their structure however basic functionality will be coded .


* link exchange pages will maintain old travel related links, also travel link exchange functionality will be copied and coded


* 2 blogs will be added , 1 for kiveli (historic person, http://www.milatos.com/kiveli ) and her historic pages , 1 for spinalonga ( holiday home http://www.milatos.com/spinalonga ) and its pages copied from old site .


* The main site will support 4 languages english , greek , french , german (probably 4 blogs) .


* it is estimated that less than 200 pages will be copied & redirected to new ones , 250 pages will be only redirected but not copied.
