This project should prove to be fun and exciting. We have purchased a cms from http://www.edirectory.com . The software is a business directory similar to Yelp, CitySearch, and many other popular online and mobile directories. All of the programming, documentation, and support is provided by eDirectory. 

We need an original site design that includes a clean professional look and feel. An example is http://www.CitySearch.com . If the blue is changed to green that may be the design we are looking for. Design to connect all area perspectives: Visitors, Members, and Site Mangers. Connection of these elements is estimated at 8 hours. 

Our initial rollout is planned for the Los Angeles area businesses. So, Los Angeles by directory tree may be the heading on the business listings, and then change as the city does. After this, we are looking for that same person to modify and add design as we grow.
