Need to build a Website template system to run online newspaper.

1) Build site using Drupal, Joomla or similar CMS system with openx or similar system to manage banner ads, classified section, as well as subscription module, wordpress for blogs, and RSS feed for news.

2) the ability to email an article as well as rate each article.

3) News articles need to expire and get auto archived after expiration date, and be searchable.

4) Account creation system for users to submit classified ads and/or display ads. all ads are then sent to manager to review for approval.

5) Backend interface for multiple users to manage different dept. 
Classified - Review ads for accuracy and content. after modification and approval get saved in (x) format.
Subscription - keep track of start expiring and renewals. handle suspension of account or delivery verify address via online resources(i.e. USPS.GOV)
Web reporting on newspaper/site.

6) Classified, subscription needs to accept payments via credit Card, paypal etc..


The customer will assume full responsibility for web site content maintenance and
administration. All content, coding and graphics will become the sole property of customer.

Development Guidelines
The system designed by the successful candidate must meet the following criteria:
-Create a content management system that will permit non-technical client staff to instantly update web site content for each newspaper.
-Visually Appealing - The site must have the ability to embed video and/or audio (i.e. youtube)
-Common Theme - Each section of the site should have a common look and feel.
The Newspaper's logo should be prominently displayed on every page as a common header.

Tracking/reporting:
Implementation of tracking software to produce user defined site log reports. 
to help newspaper(s) better understand and measure web visitor behavior and improve web site performance and availability ( can be hosted service) 

Backend Admin:
1) Paid Subscription Management, for multiple product and discount price level.
2) OpenX Management of Banners
3) Template to look like https://www.wsj.com
4) CC/Paypal Payment gateways
5) Setup Google-analytics Code

evaluation.

Time frame for completion. The time frame for completion of the project will be
evaluated. In addition, time frames will be part of the contractual agreement.
